Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 6-9-2004:

Bessie Aileen Foust, 80, died June 2, 2004 at Kavanagh House on 56th Street in Des Moines. Private services were held at the North River Community Church with burial in the North River Cemetery.

Miss Foust lived in the Indianola area all her life. She was employed with the Telephone Company for several years and retired as a Bookkeeper from the Preferred Risk Mutual Insurance Company in 1987 after 35 years of service.

Survivors are her sisters, Eva Graham of Torrance, CA, and Donna Ripperger of Indianola; brother, Lloyd Foust of Carlisle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the North River Community Church or Kavanagh House on 56th Street in Des Moines. Overton Funeral Home was in charge of services.
