Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA 10-22-1993:

Mildred Leota Weeks, 82, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Overton Funeral Home, with burial in IOOF Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Weeks, a homemaker, was born in Warren County and had lived in Indianola since 1948.

She is survived by her husband, Fred; two sons, Keith of Mound, Minn., and Dean of Indianola; a daughter, Marilyn Hutchison of Indianola; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
