Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 2-17-1985:

Services for Harry H. Finckbone, 89, of Lacona, formerly of Des Moines, who died of a heart ailment at an Indianola nursing home, will be at 1:30 p.m. at Mosher Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Arnold Cemetery.

Mr. Finckbone was born in Leon and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He retired as a self-employed plumber. He was a Mason and a member of Lacona Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Harold J. of Orlando, Fla.; one stepson, Elmo Hildreth of Lacona; one stepdaughter, Imo Lepley of Lacona; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home until service time.
