Esther Mae Fell, 74, of Grimes died of cancer Monday, May 24, 1999, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 26. Burial will be at Hartford Cemetery.
Mrs. Fell was born in Des Moines and lived in Swan and Hartford before moving to Grimes. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and First Christian Church of Granger.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Moore of Johnston and Anna Ashford of Carlisle; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
