Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 10-9-1991:

Roy D. Edwards, 63, of Indianola, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 1991, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines of a respiratory ailment.
Services are Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m. at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial to follow in Indianola IOOF Cemetery.
Mr. Edwards was born in Warren County and lived most of his life in Indianola and Des Moines. He had also lived for several years in Flint, Mich., working on the assembly line for Chevrolet.
He was most recently employed in road construction and disabled in the mid-1970's.
Survivors include three sons, Brian, Barry, and Gary all of Des Moines; a step-daughter, Sheryl Green of Des Moines; a brother, Art Edwards of Concord, Calif.; three sisters, Esther Wood of Indianola, Pauline Soloc of Durand, Mich., and Eda Moldenhauer of Bancroft, Mich.; nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and one step-great-granddaughter.
Overton Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Survivors include three sons, Brian, Barry and Gary, all of Des Moines; a stepdaughter, Sheryl Green of Des Moines; a brother, Art Edwards of Concord, Calif.; three sisters, Esther Wood of Indianola, Pauline Soloc of Durand, Mich., and Eda Moldenhauer of Bancroft, Mich.; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
