Linda Blackford, 62, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 at home from respiratory failure. Memorial services will be held 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at LDS Church, 2101 Evergreen Ave., Des Moines.

Linda had a special love for her Family and her last request was that they be reunited.

Linda is survived by her children, Robert May of Des Moines, Troy (Joey) May and Traci May, both of Indianola, Angela (Andre) Moses of Whitehall, Montana, and David McDermott of Newton, A sister Sondra Blackford of Des Moines, 16 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and her siblings, Kenny (Virginia) Blackford of Mitchellville, Randy (Jody) Blackford of Des Moines, Marilyn (Butch) Nichols of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Vicky (Cloyd) Breese of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenny and Shirley Blackford and her brother, Denny Blackford.
