Donald Joseph Dittmer was born July 29, 1943 near Lacona, Iowa to Allen and Irene Seuferer Dittmer. He graduated from Southeast Warren High School in 1961.
Donald worked at Winpower in Newton, drove a truck, and enjoyed working on motorcycles. He liked working with his hands, riding motorcycles, and antiquing.
Donald passed away at his home on March 13, 2010 at the age of 66 years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Allen and Irene Dittmer; and siblings: Mary Ann Gary, Melvin Dittmer, Vincent Dittmer, and an infant sister Helen. He is survived by siblings: Hilda (Wayne) Schaffer, Norma Gotta, Carl (Candy) Dittmer, and June Rouse; and many cousins, relatives, and friends.
