Bessie A. Sill, 95, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Christian Union Church in Milo, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Hammondsburg Cemetery there.

Mrs. Sill was born near Milo and had lived in the Indianola area most of her life. She was a retired schoolteacher and homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Warren County Historical Society and the Daughters of the American Revolutions.

She is survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon today at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
