Clarence Russell Kennedy, 89, died Wednesday, February 1, 2006, at Windsor Manor in Indianola. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006, at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola.

Clarence was born in Clarke County on July 10, 1916 and worked for Firestone for 32 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Kennedy of Indianola; son, Norman (Andra) of Indianola; grandchildren, Ariana of Lincoln, NE, Aaron of Indianola, Craig of Minneapolis, MN and Elise of Indianola; and great-grandson, Matthew.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial of ashes will be in IOOF Cemetery in Indianola. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the Windsor Manor.
