Howard A. Amos, 92, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Saturday, March 16, 1996, at home. Visitation with family will be Tuesday, March 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 20. Burial will be at the Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Mr. Amos was born in Warren County and lived in the area all his life. He had been a farmer and a member of First United Methodist Church in Indianola and the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; two sons, Harold of Indianola and Roland of Prole; a sister, Nora Martin of St. Charles; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
