Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 5-15-2003:

Roscoe K. Alexander, 78, died May 13, 2003 at Mercy Hospital. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Epworth United Methodist Church.

Mr. Alexander was born in Indianola. He retired as a supervisor from John Deere. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. He was an avid Hawkeye fan and loved working on old cars and going on family vacations.

He is survived by his wife, Angelina; two daughters, Kathleen and husband Glen Weaver of Des Moines and Kristine Bush of West Des Moines; a son, Roscoe Alexander II of Clive; four grandchildren, Glen Weaver, Jr., Melissa Weaver, Jarrod Bush and Rachel Bush; two brothers, Morton of Indianola and David of Columbia, MO; and a sister, Flora Groves of Milo.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McLaren's Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
