Esther May (Tipton) Hutchcroft passed away on December 2, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born March 23, 1928 in Liberty Center, IA to Claude & Leona M (King) Tipton. She was married to Frederick Hutchcroft Jr. on October 26, 1945.

She is survived by husband, Fred; children, daughter Susan (Brad) Campbell of Bettendorf, IA, son, Jim (Pam) of Indianola, son John (Michelle) of West Des Moines; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother Howard Tipton. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Center Chapel Church Hwy 92 West, Indianola, IA with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Center Chapel Church or Mercy Hospice of Johnston, IA.
