Doris M. Bauer, 60, of 4233 Grand Ave. died of a heart attack Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Cathedral. A private burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville.

Mrs. Bauer was born near Chariton and had lived in Des Moines for 11 years. She was a data systems technician for the Des Moines Post Office. She was a member of St. Ambrose Cathedral.

Survivors include three daughters, Rachel Elizabeth Blake of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mary Louise Neiderbach and Pauline Anne Bauer, both of Des Moines; a son, Theodore Paul of Des Moines; a sister, Mary Lucille Truman of Lacona; a brother, Arlo William Turner of Milwaukee, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
