Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 11-18-1987:

Funeral services for Marie A. Ball, 67, of rural Indianola will be held today, Nov. 18, 1987, at 11 a.m. at the Overton Funeral Home. Interment will be in the IOOF Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Ball died Monday, Oct. 19, at her home. The death was ruled a suicide by State Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas Bennet.

Born in rural Warren County she had lived on farms south of Indianola most of her life. She had been a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence; two sons, Clarence Jr. of Milo, and Jerry of Indianola; one daughter, Shirley Stalter of Indianola; her mother, Dorothy Weeks of Indianola; two brothers, Fred and Donald (Jake) Weeks of Indianola; five sisters, Fern Carnes of Des Moines, LaVena Waldrup of Twentynine Palms, Calif., Eva Hoover of Fairfield, Calif., Mary Hatcher of Cedar Falls, Louise Condin of Mexia, Texas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Iowa Missing Person Information Clearing House.
