Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 11-24-2003:

Florene G. Arnold, 84, died Sunday, November 23, 2003 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center. Services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 26, at the Milo Christian Union Church, Milo, Iowa of which she was a member. Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery rural Milo.

Florene was born in Marion County, Iowa and had lived in Milo since the late 1940's. She was a homemaker and had worked at the Milo Locker for several years. Florene was a member of the Milo Betterment Committee for the Milo Community Center and a 50 year member of Bethel Chapter Order of Eastern Star in Milo and the Indianola Chapter #338.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Paul) Lundberg of Milo; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 25 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to her church.
