Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 3-9-2003:

Winifred Agnes Hoover, 91, of Norwalk died of a respiratory ailment Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Church of the Assumption in Churchville, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Webb Cemetery near Norwalk.

Mr. Hoover was born in Cumming and had lived in the Norwalk area most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of her church's altar and rosary society.

She is survived by two sons, Alan of New Virginia and Jerry of Norwalk; three daughters, Rosemary Hoover of Indianola, Diane Hoover of Norwalk and Jeanette Warren of Clive; a brother, Vincent King of Waukee; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at McLaren's Funeral Chapel in West Des Moines, where a vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
