Evelyn "Evie" Boucher, 78, died on November 10, 2012 at Hospice Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel, 6337 Hickman Road, Des Moines, IA. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

Evie was born on January 11, 1934, in Warren County, Iowa to William P. and Vera Marie Hurst Coffman. She was a 1952 graduate of Milo High School. In 1954, Evie moved to Des Moines and worked for the IA Conservation Commission, now known as the Department of Natural Resources. After that, she worked at Employers Mutual Insurance for 25 years and was an administrative assistant until her retirement in 1998. She was an avid collector, enjoyed antiques, the Iowa Hawkeyes and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be missed by daughters, Pam (Daron) Reeves of Des Moines and Becky (Tim) Leonardi of Altoona; grandchildren, Jennifer McGinn, Jillian Harrington, Amanda Leonardi and Jessica Leonardi; great- grandchildren, Jorden Neese and Alex Morris; brothers, Eldon (Betty) Coffman and Richard (June) Coffman both of Milo, IA; sisters, Mildred (Howard) Sargent of Indianola, IA and Dorothy Kreider of Clive, IA; many nieces; nephews other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry in 1982; brothers, Rodney, Raymond "Tucker" and Merrill and her sister, Edna Mae Bales.
