Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 2-20-1991:

Edna Day Shoemaker, 100, of the Table Rock Health Care Center in Kimberling City, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 17, 1991, of a heart ailment at the care center. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs. Shoemaker, a homemaker, was born in Milo and lived in Warren County and Indianola until Moving to Hurst, Texas, three years ago. She moved to the care center in Kimberling City last November. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Indianola.

Survivors include a son, Burl of Kimberling City; two daughters, Bernice Reda of Hurst and Arlene Stebbins of Bedford, Texas; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Peterson Funeral Home.
