Carrie "Rose" Hook, 72, of Omaha died of cancer Saturday at Elkhorn Manor there. Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Park Funeral Home. The body will be cremated following services.

Mrs. Hook was born in Pleasantville and had lived in Des Moines before moving to Omaha in 1980. She was a retired bookkeeper for Eastern Nebraska Human Services.

Surviving are two sons, James Conn of Waukee and Jordan Trehy of Arizona; two daughters, Linda Gipe of Des Moines and Penny Parrish of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Rex Boucher of Ankeny; a sister, Ruby Cole of Thayer, MO; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
