Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 11-6-2012:

Dean Quick, 85, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Fleur Heights Care Center. A graveside inurnment service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Prairie City.

Dean was born February 1, 1927 in Runnells to Russell and Opal Quick. He retired after 24 years as a foreman for Feed Specialties Company.

Dean is survived by his wife, Lois; sons, Eddie and David; daughters, Sharon (Aaron) Kain and Lori (Matthew) Howe; much loved granddaughters, Savanna and Hannah; sisters, Ardis Cox, Doris Quick, Bonnie (John) Tuttle and Jo (Joe) Munoz. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and two brothers.
