James Junior McCormack

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, July 30, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Chariton Christian Church. No visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Chariton Christian Church or to the Monroe County Hospice. Condolences for the family may be left at www.pierschbacherfuneralhome.com .

Jim passed away July 26, 2012 at the Monroe County Hospital in Albia.

Jim is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara; children: Dr. Marridee (Mike) Randall of Albia, Janet (Tom) Janeck of Erie, PA, Blake McCormick of Chariton, Ken (Kellie) McCormick of Chariton, Karl McCormick of Chariton, and Jamie (Jackie) McCormick of Knoxville; 18 grandchildren; and ten great- grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings: Leola Mikesell of Oakley, Elzora Towne of Milo, Eulala Holmquist of Newton, Kenneth McCormick of Norwood, and Lois Akins of Knoxville.
