Maxine Rawson Pendry, 94, of Carlisle, formerly of Hartford passed away at Hospice Kavanagh House on July 26, 2012. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Services will be held at the Community United Presbyterian Church of Hartford Sunday, at 10:30 a.m. Maxine lived in the Hartford/Carlisle area all of her life where she sold Avon for 22 years; however retired as co-owner of the Pendry's Smoke House in Carlisle. She was a member of the Community United Presbyterian Church in Hartford. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents David and Estella Rawson, nine brothers and sisters, her husband Rex Pendry, son Denny Pendry and daughter in law Peggy Pendry. Surviving members of Maxine's family are her daughter Donna(Don)Hall of Carlisle, four grandchildren,seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
