Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 6-17-1991:

Ethel Marie Bowlin, 80, died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mitchellville Village Care Center, where she was a resident. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Faith Church in Indianola, of which she was a member, with burial in Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs Bowlin was born in Clarke County and lived most of her life in Indianola. A homemaker, she also lived in Mitchellville for seven years.

She is survived by a son, Donald of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Joan Alexander of Indianola and Sherry Jones of Altoona; two brothers, Rex Boucher of Ankeny and Ray Boucher of Sandyville; two sisters, Ruby Cole of Thayer, Mo., and Rose Hook, of Omaha; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, where the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
