Obituary from The Des Moines Tribune newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 12-9-1971:

Mary Loraina Weston, daughter of Oliver Grant Weston and Olive Louella Blodgett Weston, was born May 13, 1902, at Indianola, and died Dec. 6, 1971, at Iowa Methodist Hospital, Des Moines. As a young girl she attended the Friends Church and maintained her membership there throughout her lifetime. She was united in marriage to Forrest Newton Gordon Aug. 29, 1919 at Des Moines. To this union was born four children; Delbert Gordon of National City, CA.; Mrs. Ray (LaVonne) Boucher of Indianola; Mrs. Leonard (Betty Jo) Carlsen of Newton; and Mrs. Ralph (Ruth Elaine) Weidman of Imperial Beach, CA. Mr. Gordon died Aug. 30, 1956, and she was united in marriage to Harold Foltz Briggs Sept. 21, 1959 at Princeton, MO. He proceeded her in death Oct. 2, 1967. She is survived by her four children, 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Pearl Glasgow, and one brother, Charlie Weston, both of Indianola, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Peterson Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, 1971, with the Rev. Lowell Rasmussen officiating. Interment was in the Indianola City Cemetery.
