Thursday, 30 January 1997Mary E. (Hyde) Riney, 62, of Cedar Rapids died of emphysema Tuesday at Mercy Medical Center there. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Murdoch-Lindwood Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, and burial will be at Hartford Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Riney was born in Milton. She was a motor pool manager with the State of Iowa for several years and had lived in Des Moines from 1973 to 1987.
Surviving are a daughter, Patti Foley of Geneseo, Ill.; two sisters, Ruth Ann Farley of Bloomfield and Jane Hockersmith of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Her longtime companion was Russell Baird.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Medical Center.
