Harry James Lawyer was born in 1871in Ohio and departed this life on September 20, 1924 at his home in Liberty Township, Warren County, Iowa. He married Carrie Ida Hall on August 21, 1891 in Indianola, Iowa. To this union was born seven children: Zola Mae, Hazel Laura, Merrill Guy, Wayne Vernon, Gracie Deloice, Karl Harry, and Gladys M. Lawyer. Harry Lawyer will be layed to rest in the Liberty Center Cemetery.
