Eliza Grant, daughter of Isle and Susanna Grant was born Oct. 28, 1831, at Burrough Lee Marse, Lincolnshire, England and died at her home three miles north of Lorimor, Ia., Oct. 10, 1910, aged 78 years, 11 months and 12 days. At the age of 22 she was united in marriage to Stephen Willows. Five children were born, two coming to this country in 1881. They came direct to Winterset and have lived in Monroe township ever since. In 1893 she was left a widow and since has made her home with her son on their farm north of town.

The funeral was held from the M.E. church in Lorimor last Wednesday after which all that was mortal was laid to rest in the Lorimor cemetery.
