Services for Carolee Hutcheson Walles, 59, who died Monday, September 3, 2007 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Indianola Christian Union Church. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Carolee was born in Perry, Iowa and graduated from Pleasantville High School. She worked for Victory Academy Day Care in Indianola, was a member of the Indianola Christian Union Church and enjoyed reading, sewing, watching her grandchildren, going on family picnics and going to church. She also loved watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Chicago Cubs.

Surviving are her husband, Joe of Indianola; sons, Tad Walles of Indianola and David (Heather) Walles of Des Moines; daughter, Jolea (Marty) Schwager of Clive; seven grandchildren; sister, Kathie Sue Hutcheson of Indianola; two nephews; one niece and her husband; and six great-nephews. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Dorothy Lyon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Kathryn Hutcheson and an infant brother, Carroll Kent Hucheson.
