RUTH (STRABLE) HENSON, Prole

Services for Ruth Henson, 93, who died Thursday, August 9, 2007 at The Village Health Center in Indianola, will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 13 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Martensdale, with burial following in the St. Marys Cemetery.

Survivors include her son, Larry (Terri) Henson of Martensdale; daughters, Alberta (Roy) Seymour of Prole, Kathy (Vin) Wildin of Winterset, and Betty (Don) Emehiser of Johnston; brother Rex Strable of Rio Rancho, NM; sister, Helen Whitlow of Winterset; ten grandchildren; three step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; four brothers; two grandchildren; and 1 great grandson, Mark Morgan, Jr.

Visitation will be held 3 to 7 p.m., Sunday, August 12 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be given to her church, St. Marys Fire and Rescue or Hospice of Central Iowa Knoxville Office.
