June A. Hubbs of 2116 Searle St. died of a heart ailment Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. She was 69. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Southtown Funeral Home Chapel, and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Hubbs, a homemaker, was born in Grinnell and moved to Des Moines three years ago from Carlisle.

She is survived by her husband, Roy; two daughters, Alice Campbell of Dallas, Texas, and Sandra Newcomb of Des Moines; a son, Ira of Grand Junction; four sisters, Marie McAninch of Montezuma and Jean Lewis, Della Gove and Lois Kimm, all of Des Moines; and a brother, Harold Leslie of Maxwell. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, December 1991
