THOMAS, MARY A., farmer, Jefferson Township, Sec. 34; P. O. Lothrop, widow of Simon Thomas, who was born in Virginia, September 27, 1826, and lived there till twelve years old, and came with his parents to Ohio; it was while there that Mr. Thomas was married to her; her maiden name was Mary A. Tucker, a native of Virginia; they left Ohio and came to Warren county in 1855; he died September 21, 1873; have a family of one son and one daughter: George H., and Sarah E. (now Mrs. Lough); her son, Geo. H., enlisted in the late war, under Capt. Ogg, in the Third Iowa Infantry, May 1861; owns a farm of 160 acres.
