SHIEK, HENRY; Indianola, was born in Wurtemberg, Germany, in 1822, and was raised there, and emigrated to the United States in 1847; and settled in Syracuse, New York, where he remained three years, and then moved to Ohio, in 1850, and came to this county in 1855, and settled in Indianola; he learned the trade of barber, and afterward engaged in the grocery business; he married Miss Margaret J. Wells, in 1851; she was born in New York; they have three children: Charles H., William and Frank.
