LAMB, JOSIAH B., Allen Township, dealer in groceries and notions, Carlisle; was born in Howard county, Indiana, in 1847, and was raised there till four years of age, when his parents came to Iowa, and located in Dallas county; they came to this county in 1865; he has been engaged in the above business for two years; was in the late war, in the 7th Iowa Infantry, Co. C., enlisted January 17, 1865, and served till the close of the war; Mr. Lamb is also engaged in school teaching.
