ENO, IMLE L., Indianola, grocer, of the firm of Spray & Eno; was born in Cayuga county, New York, in 1830, and was raised there; he removed to Illinois in 1852, and came to this county in 1866, and settled in Washington township; owns 100 acres of land; in connection with his brothers, was the first to introduce successfully the hedge business, and have planted over 100 miles in the county; he enlisted in the 77th Illinois Infantry during the late war; he married Miss Catharine Cronkhite in 1854; she was a native of New York, and died in 1856; he afterward married Miss Julia Allerton in 1858; she was born in Ohio; they have one son: Rufus A.
