DAVISSON, JOSIAH M., farmer and stock-raiser, Washington Township, Sec. 26; P. O. Indianola; is a native of West Virginia; born August 9, 1818, and lived there till they came to this county, March 20, 1864; was married to Ann Reed, a native of West Virginia, born February 15, 1820; have a family of four sons and three daughters living: J. B., Ara c. (wife of Levi Hammond), g. G., Harriet J. (wife of William Lawrence), Henrietta, William and Howard C.; his son Jesse, b., was in the late war, in Co. C, Fourth Regiment West Virginia Cavalry, enlisted July 14, 1863, and discharged at Wheeling, Mar. 9, 1864; owns a farm of 436 acres.
