CHESBROUGH, NICHOLAS G., Indianola, blacksmith; was born in Otsego county, New York, in 1821, but raised in Albany City till 1851, when he emigrated to Galesburg, Ill., where he lived about fifteen years, and then went to Chicago where he made his home till he came to this county in 1871; was married in Albany, in 1848, to Miss Elizabeth Abel; they have a family of two daughters: Mary A. and Millie J.; he learned his trade when about nineteen years of age, and has followed it as an avocation ever since.
