MARVIN IRVING RICHARDSON
Marvin I. Richardson, funeral director at Carlisle, was born in St. Charles, Mo., May 8, 1909, the son of Joseph Clate and Vernie (Davidson) Richardson. He attended the University of Missouri for one year and then studied at Coyne Electrical school, Chicago, Ill., and HohenschukCarpenter College of Embalming.
May 8, 1931, Mr. Richardson married Mary Eva Singley, daughter of George Adam and Eva (Barnes) Singley. Mrs. Richardson was born March 22, 1910, at Moulton. The Richardsons ha v e one child, Mary Lee, born June 8, 1947, in Washington, D. C.
Mr. Richardson served three years in the European theater of operation during World War II. He is a member of the American Legion and is affiliated with the Masonic order and the Eastern Star. Mrs. Richardson belongs to P.E.O. and Eastern Star. The Richardsons are Methodists and Republicans.
