GERALD C. RANDLEMAN
Gerald C. Randleman, who has a farm in Warren County and also one in Polk county, lives at Carlisle. He is the son of Fred L. and Flossie (LaFon) Randleman. He is a great-grandson of two pioneer settlers of Warren County, William Stumbo and Capt. M. C. Randleman, both of whom came to what is now Warren County in 1845.
On Sept. 10, 1932, Gerald C. Randleman married Roxy Ellis, daughter of James and Margaret (Pilmer) Ellis. They have three children: Margret Cheryl, Gerald Ellis and Ronald James. Both Mr. and Mrs. Randleman are active in community, church and county affairs. Mr. Randleman is a member of Marble Lodge No. 368 at Carlisle and the Des Moines Consistory and Shrine. Mrs. Randleman belongs to the Carlisle chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. The Randlemans belong to the Middle River Friends church. In politics they support the Republican Party. Mr. Randleman is a member of the Warren County Republican Central committee and was an alternate delegate from the fifth congressional district at the Republican National convention in Chicago in 1952. He supported Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower for the nomination.
