FRANK LAVERTY
Frank Laverty, farmer and extensive landowner in the northern part of Lincoln Township, was born on the farm on which he lives Aug. 29, 1878. He is a descendant of a well-known pioneer family of Warren County. His paternal grandfather, James Laverty, came to what is now Warren County in 1847. His parents were John W. and Jennie (Pilmer) Laverty.
April 22, 1905, Mr. Laverty married Daisy Canaday, daughter of Wilson and Lucy (Parsons) Canaday. Mrs. Laverty was born near Palmyra July 29, 1880. She passed away at her home on April 26, 1937.
Mr. Laverty is vice-president of the Association of Early Settlers of Warren County. He is a member of the board of directors of the Warren County fair and the fair association. His political ties are with the Republican Party.
