ROBERT MINTON HALE
R. M. Hale, who has the Ford garage at Indianola, was born at Oskaloosa Dec. 21, 1882. He is the son of George Washington and Elmira (Patterson) Hale. On Sept. 26, 1911, he married Aimee Simmons, daughter of George B. and Lottie (Rowley) Simmons. Mrs. Hale was born at Ottumwa June 8, 1885. Mr. and Mrs. Hale have two children: Charlotte, born Sept. 5, 1916; William S., born Feb. 8, 1921.
R. M. Hale has had the Ford garage at Indianola since October, 1921. Prior to that time he was associated with the Iowa Motor company at Ottumwa. The Hales belong to the First Presbyterian Church of Indianola. Fraternally he is affiliated with the Masons. His political ties are with the Republican party.
