DALE EWALT
Dale Ewalt, attorney at Indianola, was born in Marshall county March 30, 1912. During his early years he lived on a farm in Marshall County and later went to Iowa City where he engaged with his father in the contracting business. He studied business and court reporting at the American Institute of Business in Des Moines and moved to Indianola in 1932. He studied law five years in the office of A. V. Proudfoot and was admitted to the bar in 1937. Since then he has engaged in the general practice of law in Indianola, where he is a member of the firm of Hall & Ewalt. He was county attorney three terms, 1943-1948.
May 28, 1934, Mr. Ewalt married Leona Thorn, a native of College Springs, Iowa. They have one son, Marshall, born Nov. 28, 1938. Mr. Ewalt is a Republican. His religious affiliation is with the Presbyterian church. The Ewalts live at 804 North B street in Indianola.
