Think It a Case of Murder
~
Joseph Clinton, of Carlisle, was found dead on a railway bridge a few miles southeast of Des Moines. He had been having trouble with his wife. The deceased had $2,000 life insurance in the Odd Fellows’ Lodge at Martinsburg. It was suspected he was murdered and laid on the tracks to conceal traces of the crime.
