Laughlin Ross McPherson (1896-1930)

Laughlin Ross McPherson was born June 13, 1896 to Andrew N. and Anna B. (Noble) McPherson in Warren County, Iowa. He grew up in Warren County and was a student in college (probably Simpson College) in the 1920 census, at age 23. Laughlin was the Auditor for Warren County from 1921-1922. He married Matilda Louise Zilch around 1924 and lived in the town of Banning, Riverside County, California during the 1930 census, taken April 12th. Laughlin died in 1930, age 35, and is buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Los Angeles County, California.
