Hello,

I live with my soon-to-be 90 year-old father and have been looking for away to be able to make an income that would be a blessing to others and
doing something I enjoy, and still be able to watch out for my dad.

Recently I started perusing old photos, just for fun, on ebay. I realized that folks sell LOTS of old photos there--always or almost always
strangers to them, and most without names. I decided I would purchase some the groups of photos or individual photos where people were clearly
identified, see if I could find records on those people, then see if Icould find relatives who would consider them a treasure worth paying for.
That said, I purchased a sharp, clear postcard photo of a sailor, mailed from Great Lakes Naval Station in 1942, sent to his brother, "Ernest L.
Fisher" 509 West Fourth in Ottumwa, Iowa, with a message he wrote that started "Dear Ernie." With the searching time on ebay, my purchase cost,
searching out records for him on Find A Grave and Ancestry.com, and postage, packaging and tracking to send it to a family member, if you or someone you might know in the Fisher family would think that this treasure is worth $47 + $3 for postage and handling, etc. (total $50) I would be happy to return it to the family, where it belongs. If you would like me to send you a scan of part of the message and part of the picture, let me know what it's in regards to. It will go to the first person I contact who is certain they want it.
