Did a little checking and didn't come up with any decendents, but a little additional information that may help you find someone.

According to the Polk's City Directories, Walter and Lena Dooley lived on Capri Lane. Walter was a lab technician for John Morrell & Company. Morrell closed down in the early 1970s and many of its employees moved away. Some, who had worked for Morrell for many years were allowed to take early retirement and stayed in the Ottumwa area. Others held out and worked for Hormel when it took over the old Morrell plant. Can't tell you which Walter may have done.

I can say that there are several (perhaps 20) Dooley families listed in the current Ottumwa phone directory.
