Thanx for your reply. The pix are what I posted. The directory listings and census reports are Uncle Fred's. He lived in Ottumwa before and after (for a few years) WWII . Aunt Mary (Reedy) moved with him to IA from VA when he was discharged. Cousin Gene wasn't born til '45. His VA birth record is on ancestry database.

I have posted their obits on the Wapello obit page, ancestry and findagrave.com.

I'm at a standstill to find out about Karen. She would have been born after the 1940 Census.
Who were her parents??? Did she keep her married name or change it back to her maiden name? Did she remarry? Any ideas how to research this? I have checked the SSDI and findagrave.com but not knowing, for sure, what her last name is frustrating!!!
