THOMPSON AND BATES FAMILIES

I am searching for any descendants of Samuel R. Thompson and Eliza Jane Van Note. They moved to Ottumwa about 1846. They had 8 children...7 born in Ottumwa. Julia A. married Edward Bates; Elizabeth married William Starns. Other children were: James A., George W., Mary A., Lucretia, and William B. We will be having a 100 Van Note Reunion at Cedar Rapids, IA and are looking for all Van Note descendants. Thank you.
