Your Genealogical information on my GILBERT Family is much more than I had hoped to find in such a short time period.

I am very grateful and I will add it to what I now know and perhaps I can trace Mary Hofman Gilbert back to Alsas Loraine (fnu) area of France and Germany. It was a very hotly contested area over many generations with France taking it from Germany and Germany later taking to from France, etc., etc.
