It is interesting that when i went and got a prescription done yesterday at the drugstore; they put my last names as LARIGAN; which is how some people read the written surname of Lanigan and Lannigan. These Larrigans are indeed mine.(1860 census of Jeff Co Ia) They came to Wapello CO IA in 1870. (OTTUMWA)1880 has LANAGARE. Even my own g. grandmother has records as Lanigan and Lannigan. Her insurance papers and church records have Lanigan, Lannigan and Larrigan.

Thanks again for the help. Mystery has been solved.
