Fred and Vera Bartashuk Popchuck from Russia 1912

POPCHUCK, POPCHOCK, POPCHURCK, POPCHUK, BARTASHUK

Looking for info on POPCHUCK family who immigrated from Russia in 1912. This family owned a shoe repair shop in Ottumwa.

Vera BARTAHUK was also a Russian immigrant and was the wife of Fred PPOCHUCK. There are several spellings as you can see.Vera had a brother Vincent BARTASHUK.The POPCHUCK family attended St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ottumwa. Nellin POPCHUCK appears in the death records of St. Mary's. She is buried in Calvary Cemetery and has a thombstone. She was the twin sister of Helen.There is some confusion as to birth and death dates. If anybody can help, please post directly to this board. Thanks for any help you can give.
